The Forum of Indian Food Importers (FIFI) hosted a distinguished three-centre conclave in New Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai and signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), a historic agreement with ProChile from April 1st to 5th, 2025. The ceremony was presided by Mr. Gabriel Boric Font, President of Chile; Mr. Esteban Valenzuela, Minister of Agriculture for Chile; Mr. Juan Angulo, Ambassador of Chile to India; Mr. Ignacio Fernandez, Director General of ProChile and FIFI team.
This pivotal event served as a platform for the convergence of preeminent industry experts across key sectors, including fresh and dried fruits, wines, seafood, meats, and processed foods. The conclave served as a preeminent platform for fostering robust trade relations, exploring nascent business opportunities, and cultivating enduring connections between the Chilean and Indian markets, thereby solidifying FIFI's commitment to facilitating a dynamic and prosperous Chile-India trade corridor.
