The Forum of Indian Food Importers (FIFI) collaborated with Andalucia Trade and Investment to promote Spanish olive oil and olives in India. FIFI organized B2B meetings between Indian importers and Spanish exporters in New Delhi and Mumbai on June 19th and 21st, 2023, respectively.
To showcase the versatility of Spanish olives and olive oil, FIFI organized a live cooking demonstration by Chef Ashish Bhasin. The chef prepared a fusion of Spanish and Indian dishes, including gazpacho, salads, garlic shrimp, and Indian-inspired dishes using olive oil and olives. This event highlighted the potential for innovative culinary creations using Spanish ingredients.
FIFI also played a crucial role in facilitating the B2B meetings. The organization shared information about Spanish companies with potential Indian buyers, organized meetings based on product categories and interests, and ensured the smooth conduct of these meetings.
Through these efforts, FIFI successfully promoted Spanish olive oil and olives in the Indian market, fostering strong business relationships between Indian and Spanish companies.
